HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Lifepoint Church is hiring a Human Resources Manager to serve in our Central Business Office. This position is responsible for facilitating all functions of HR, to include benefits/payroll administration, hiring & recruiting, and staff welfare.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of an Associates Degree or higher and a Certificate in Human Resources Management
• Minimum of 7+ years of human resources experience
• Must have experience recruiting highly specialized positions
• Preferential treatment will be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher and/or candidates with SHRM-SCP or SPHR certifications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including (but not limited to) Word, Excel, and Outlook

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; and maintaining records
  • Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes
  • Maintains employee benefit programs and coordinates open enrollment activities
  • Maintains and facilitates the annual employee evaluation program across the organization
  • Conducts annual employee engagement surveys and compiles the results for management
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions
  • Runs staff payroll and ensures the timely payment of freelance contractors
  • Other duties as assigned

 

EMPLOYMENT STATUS
  • Full-Time, 40-45 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday

 

WORK LOCATION
  • Fredericksburg, VA

  • Direct-Line Reports to Business Administrator
